ACC Silicones Thixotropic 250g lot for addition to the ACC Silicones 900 range of condensation cure RTV Silicone Rubber. Addition at 2% will give a thick, buttery like silicone that can be applied via applicator or pallet knife. This will cling to verticals and overhangs without any slump. The net result is the ability to create thin skin like moulds in situ for copying cornince or other mouldings. For brush on RTV try 1% but if you want full thixotropy, then the datasheet recommends 2%. For a kilo of base, would need 10-20g as appropriate, so 250g is ideal for up to 12.5 kg at 2% of RTV Silicone Rubber. This may also be used in the construction of a skin mould without the need for building a box, padded out with clay or similar. All moulds made in this fashion will require some type of support case as the rubber will not self support at 10mm skin. Price indicated is for a 250g pot. Bottle may vary from picture to improve quality or extraction of the material
