ACC Silicones Thixotropic for addition to the ACC Silicones 900 range of condensation cure silicones. Addition at 2% will give a thick, buttery like silicone that can be applied via applicator or pallet knife. This will cling to verticals and overhangs without any slump. The net result is the ability to create thin skin like moulds in situ for copying cornince or other mouldings. For brush on RTV try 1% per kilo which equates roughly to a teaspoon to a kilo of base.

This may also be used in the construction of a skin mould without the need for building a box, padded out with clay or similar. All moulds made in this fashion will require some type of support case as the rubber will not self support at 10mm skin.
