TOMPS Viscolo Addition Cure Range RTV Silicone Rubber is a superlative product outlasting all Condensation Cure Silicones and many (if not all!) Addition Cure Rubbers. Although this rubber appears un-branded, it is in fact manufactured by one of the world's leading RTV Formulators and Manufacturers. This Silicone resists PU Fast Cast like no other! We are proud to put our name and brand on the can!

This RTV has fantastic elongation to break and tear resistance, and tests indicate up to 3 times more pulls than a Condensation Cure Rubber using Polyurethane Fast Cast and NO mould release systems! Its incredibly low viscosity allows efficient home production of moulds with minimal air entrapment, even without a degassing unit. Knotty tear propagation is good.

Viscolo 22 is the easiest system to use since it has a colour tag system to ensure full and even mixing and the ability to mix by volume. A low hazard system being Platinum Cure and safer for younger users (with adult supervision).

It is quite fast setting and can produce a mould in a few hours. We recommend a postcure at room temperature for 24-72 hours for 100% cure and best mould longevity. But you can use it when you like if you so choose!

When using with white metals, this rubber has a maximum service temperature of 200 Celsius. Be sure to temper the rubber if using it with hot casting media. Search the knowledgebase for "Temper" for assistance.
