Continuous Filament Mat or CFM as it is also known is a very different type of mat to that of standard chopped strand mat. The primary difference is that fact that all the filaments are continuous and unbroken. Primarily this is used in specialist applications such as Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) Processes at high weights per square metre, usually 300 and upwards. Rolls are usually 127cm wide.

225 gsm is usually reserved purely for the GRG market. That's Glass Reinforced Gypsum or to put it in laymans terms, a plaster casting reinforced with glass! Primarily the presence of glass in the GRG aids in strength at very low weights. It also adds an amount of fire retardancy to the finished product. Very popular in barrelled ceilings or suspended ceilings due to high strength/low weight combination.

We stock only 225 grams per square metre matting, this should never be used with Polyesters as the mat will literally fall to pieces!

We have price breaks at 1 metre, 1 roll, or indeed one pallet. Each roll weighs a little different so its a little difficult to price this on the internet with changing roll and pallet weights!

If you enter 1 unit you will get 1 kilo. 1 kilo of this product relates to 3.5m more or less. If you enter 90 units you will get a full roll and may be due a credit. If you require a pallet please contact us.
