Epoxy Laminating & Casting Resin for use in either layup or in a casting environment using an RTV Silicone Mould. Ideally suited to laminating due to its open potlife, which exceeds an hour, there is plenty of time to layup and consolidate. This Epoxy however is not Lloyds approved and cannot be used in new builds, but for repairs or above the waterline projects and at a fraction of the West System cost absolutely ideal!

This epoxy has been formulated for use in laminating, casting and coating applications where a clear, low viscosity system is required, producing tough, rigid products. The long pot life of the mixed system allows it to be fully degassed if required. A shore D of 80-90 is achieved after 5 days.

Carbon Fibre laminator? We have used and tested this with carbon. Its got good UV stability, does NOT require post cure to elminate brittleness and with the open time, no rush to layup! Finish off with either more epoxy and polish up or go for a two pack PU lacquer.

Sold in multiple of 1.5kg kits for easy transport and use, with the potlife of 75-90 minutes it is possible to mix up the whole batch in one go and use it before gelling occurs.
