ACC Silicones Food Safe RTV Silicone Rubber. A 30 Shore A Silicone Rubber that is safe to use for moulding where consumable foodstuffs are involved. This product is fully FDA Compliant. The product is mixed at a 10:1 ratio and will cure easily within 12 hours. Datasheet timings indicate a 7 hour set at 23 Celsius. it is possible to cure this product faster with the application of heat.

We have had very good success reported with the use of this product within the Choclatier field and some reported success within sugarcrafts. You will require accurate scales to get this product to work correctly! Being an addition cure RTV Silicone Rubber failure to be accurate with measurements will dividend a tack cure or cure failure. As with all addition cure silicones its important to avoid the inhibitors like Sulphites, Onion, Garlic and Plasticisers.

FDA compliance
All components present in the fully cured product are listed in CFR 21, 175.300,"Resinous and polymeric coatings" and CFR 21, 177.2600,"Rubber articles intended for repeated use". Fully cured MM230 satisfies the requirements of CFR21, 175.300 and 177.2600, sub paragraphs (e) and (f) for applications involving both aqueous and fatty foods.
