Liquid Latex Thickening Gel for rapid thixotroping (thickening) of our latex mould making rubber. Should work with ANY liquid latex however this is not guaranteed. Add at approximately 1-10% depending on the thickness you desire. Avoid over addition past 10% as this will reduce mould tear strength. Made from an acrylic co-polymer which mimics natural latex rubber when dry, retaining your mould elongation.

This product is not aggressive in its thickening process, is easily added and will not cause lumps or coagulation of latex suspensions, unlike some other liquid systems or cheaper alternatives like wallpaper paste powder or gelatin.

Generally a 1000ml unit will produce 5-10 litre of thickened latex suitable for laying up onto formers. Make sure the lid is replaced after use, this gel can have bacterial growth if exposed to the atmosphere for long periods.
