Natural Liquid Latex Rubber is a low cost way to make moulds at home for casting with plasters and cementious mixes. Tough and easy to use, a mould is built using a layer process. This means however that mould manufacture is fairly lengthy process which is the biggest drawback of using latex for this purpose. However its amazing elongation to break and general toughness outweigh this disadvantage in many cases. Our latex is one of the highest grades available, with anything up to 60.5% rubber solids content. Yes cheaper latex exists but this is a route to anguish, since less solids = more layers = more time to make your mould. Such high solids also means that this can be used to slush cast masks in plaster moulds. In addition this latex is LOW AMMONIA which means it doesnt smell so bad!
