Sharp chamfered edge down to a milled point that is primarily used to make good butt joints or mitres in cornice or panel mouldings. However being perfectly straight, it can also clean up flat areas.

We also offer this tool in the following sizes 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 & 18 inch versions. All Joint Rules come with an edge guard, unique to us here, which protects the vital chamfered edge from easy damage floating around in toolbags and boxes alike. Notice the drop down box.
