Polyester Water Clear Casting Resin. A cheaper alternative to Polyurethane systems however much slower curing. This product must NEVER be used in a latex mould, it will not cure in the top 1mm and leave a sticky, hard to clean up mess! It is only suitable for sections well in excess of 5mm but no more than 250mm. Using this in thinner section will prevent cure, in thicker section will overheat and discolour or even crack. Ideal for larger jewelry items or scientific encapsulations.

The datasheet suggests a potlife of 19-23 minutes at room temperature but does not confirm full cure times. From our experience it can take 24 hours or longer for this product to cure. Filler powders of any type should be avoided as this may inhibit the cure.

Sold in multiples of 1kg, if you order more than one kilo you will get a better price however the item may change from the pictured 1kg can. Sufficient catalyst is supplied with the job to add at 3%.
