Plasterers Splash Brush. A long handled tar brush richly filled with coco bristles. Made in the UK by professional brush manufacturers who know how to make a brush! This is not a cheap Chinese import that will lose half its coco the first time you shake it! The bristles are bound via a stainless steel ferrule. Prior to use you should gently shake the brush and remove the shorter bristles that fall away. The brush should then be soaked for a minimum of 24 hours in cold clean water. This has two effects. Firstly the coco takes on water, swelling. In the same fashion, so does the wooden handle. The net result is a tighter fit to the ferrule and even less chance of losing hairs in your work! Not the cheapest splash brush on the market, however we do have alternatives in the form of long bristle broom heads, which prove quite effective. With coco bristle brushes you do get what you pay for! Stop picking black coco fibre out of your plaster today and try one of these!
