Water Clear Epoxy Resin @ 2:1 ratio. Primarily for use as a faux water for dioramas and scale models, this material will set at 2mm thickness to tack free in 12 hours! More moisture tolerant than any PU, faster setting than any polyester with excellent clarity, self ge-gassing and a very easy volumetric mix. UV stable, less smelly, ultra clear without any tints at all!

We have tested the product to maximum 5cm thickness so far without excessive exotherm or discolouration, and would appreciate feedback on larger blocks. This resin is also suitable for carbon fibre, its clear nature allowing for full print through of carbon weave.

The very same resin can be applied as a top coat to Carbon Twills, we are currently assesing its suitability as a coating on woods, plastics and metals. However feel free to Research & Develop it to your own needs.

You can also use this resin as 1:1 though you will run out of the PART B. Extra part B can be ordered at any time. With the addition of more part B, you end up with a plastic stage to the resin lasting some hours. With this impregnated in carbon sheet, we believe (though not yet tested) it will conform to a positive former over the course of time before hardening to a fully rigid plastic. Again 2:1 resin could be used as a top coat to finish the piece.

For floral work, use the floral resin system 1:1 by volume.

You can order 1kg to 20kg kits, we have them on the shelf and ready to go in 1, 2, 5, 10, 20kg variants. The cart will allow you to order any quantity but to avoid delay try to stay with the stock sizes.
