TOMPS Transparent Shellac Sealer 62. Making a bench mould from plaster? Tired of using flaky non synthetic shellacs to seal them prior to use? Disappointed to have to keep cleaning and reapplying coats? Use TOMPS Sealer 62 instead of traditional Shellac and do the job once. Will give protection to external angles on run moulds like no other, allowing you to get more pulls from your plaster tool.
This shellac dries clear, so to help you see where you are applying it, its permissable to add a small amount, up to 5% of methylated spirit based wood stain to give it some colour. This enables you to see where its been applied, but also any plaster left behind after each cast, making mould clean up a doddle.
DO NOT USE TO SEAL PLASTER OR FORMERS where you intend to use RTV Silicone. You may get an adverse reaction!
